Every project that Flexible Films have worked on with us has been a great success. They really understand their clients and audience giving not just a professional filmmaking service but one that is delivered with imagination and flair. Christina Sadik, Queen Alexandra College
A big thanks to Flexible Films for everything over the past year or so. They make what could be very stressful, somewhat painless and actually enjoyable! They have been a pleasure to work with, consummate professionals throughout, while friendly, approachable and really hard working. You could see their commitment to the content not just the practical side of filming. It was great to share a passion for the project. Here's to the next time.
Grace O’Malley, Traveller Movement
Flexible Films produced a series of short films for us to go on the Time to Change website. They are great to work with in many ways – friendly, good communicators, conscientious about delivering on time and always responsive to our requests and questions. It was also great to work with people who really get what we do and were just as committed and passionate about the project as we are.
Helen Davies, Communications and Information Officer, Time to Change
We selected Flexible Films to work with us on a project where people who use health and social care services had been doing their own research. Their way of working fitted with what our project was about - service users having control. Flexible Films have a real skill for listening to what is required and always responded in a completely constructive way to feedback. They were a joy to work with.
Lucy Simons, INVOLVE Public Information Officer
Flexible Films approached this project with great understanding and respect for both staff and service users, making us all feel comfortable and confident to be on camera. Both staff and service users commented on the positive approach taken by Flexible Films, we really enjoyed working with them.
Jennifer Kenward, NHS England
Flexible Films worked closely with a core group of Camden staff and residents to shape and edit the content. They have an easy way about them, which puts people at their ease and instills confidence and trust, essential to this project. They undertook the work with sensitivity, care, patience and adaptability whilst delivering on time at all stages.
Niam McAleer, London Borough Camden
Working with Flexible Films was such a joy. They understood what we needed straight away, they offered really great insight along the way and communication was always clear, straightforward, professional and very friendly. I like the care they took whilst working to tight deadlines - and I really appreciated how flexible they were with us. Our film achieved everything we hoped it would!
Richard Evans, Time to Change social contact manager
Flexible Films managed to make the users feels valued and enabled them to see themselves as co-workers. This facilitated a high degree of motivation and enthusiasm in the users’ group. Making this DVD was the most enjoyable part of the overall production of our handbook due to Flexible Films’ elegant and highly professional leadership skills.
Elisabeth Heismann., Family Therapist, Oxleas NHS Trust - CAMHS
The production team worked really well with us and knew what we wanted to achieve and as a result, the film portrayed our business as a friendly, professional and really creative place to work in. The film has had a great impact on sales and interest in our services.
Julia Craik, Co-Director, Premises Recording Studios
This was a complex project – the launch date of the DVD kept changing, there were many people taking part in the film, and many stakeholders involved in the sign-off process. We needed Flexible Films to be flexible in their approach and they more than lived up to their name. Flexible Films were able to establish a good rapport with the interviewees, and as a result were able to elicit warm and heartfelt responses. The film did it’s job – Metropolitan Housing Trust was voted in.
Catherine Brien, Communications Dept, Metropolitan Housing Trust
Flexible Films have been a pleasure to work with, ensuring that the planning and execution of the filming went without a hitch, and that all participants, particularly the people supported by United Response, were at ease and had fun while filming. I have no hesitation in recommending them to other social care organisations.
Shonagh Methven, Senior Business Partner (Health and Safety), United Response
Flexible films brought with them experience and awareness of relevant social issues and in particular, they paid attention to every aspect of the process, from initial negotiation, contracting, relationship building, filming and finally a launch event which as before, reflected the ethos and values of the project.
Ela O’Farrell, Lecturer, Social Work Dept, Kent University
Flexible Films have been great to work with from start to finish. From making the process of being filmed seem very natural and putting even the nervous contributor at ease - to telling a story that’s the rare combination of informative on the one hand, but very watchable on the other. Every step was well explained, well planned, well executed and even fun.
David Hawksworth, Director, Given London
Richard House Children's Hospice would like to say a big thank you to Flexible Films for producing such an inspiring and sensitive promotional video. The team created a product which is an invaluable tool in communicating our services because of its moving and insightful content. We would recommend Flexible Films for their professionalism, creativity and compassion.
Alex Brooks-Johnson, Director of Fundraising, Richard House
Working with Flexible Films was such an easy process for us and we were delighted with the results. They were extremely supportive with our staff and services users, and they helped everyone involved in the film making process relax and think it was part of their day-to-day roles.
Vicky Kington, Head of Communications Together for Wellbeing
Flexible Films made it their business to find out exactly what we wanted. When you make a film for language teaching, you need a very exact text, and they paid great attention to this. They were also extremely good with the pupils – put them at their ease, made them feel important, and coaxed great performances out of them. The films are great. It will be perfect for the Swiss kids and their teachers. We'd love to work with Flexible again.
John Clegg, Language writer
We chose Flexible Films because we'd come across their work and liked the way they tackled disability and exclusion issues in a supportive, creative but also very high quality way. We had lots of ideas and we had all the people but we had no experience of making films and no media department to deal with it. We chose Flexible because we knew they would be totally reliable, very professional and also very friendly and accommodating in terms of working with people with learning difficulties. It all turned out brilliantly. Everyone worked very hard and the DVD was fantastic. Sybil and Russ are like members of the family now!
Catherine Bewley, Values Into Action
The project was managed professionally and efficiently at all times. The filmmakers were clearly passionate about making the film and about making the voices of those in the film heard to the best possible effect. Working with them has been an easy and enjoyable process. We would not hesitate to use them again.
